A Day Full of Smiles

So, even though Quinn has been smiling for a couple of weeks now, I can never capture it on camera. As soon as he sees the camera, he's enthralled by it. Today, however, we were able to get a few pictures. The pictures still don't do his smile justice. It melts your heart. His whole face just lights up. ok, so this one's not a smile, but a) his eyes are open and b) he was looking at me.

A Couple of Firsts

First visit with Uncle Jim and Aunt Laney

My brother tends to be terrified of infants. I'm not sure if it's his tall stature that has him second guessing himself or what. After a long evening of convincing himself, he did hold Quinn. And, he did great!

Aunt Laney & Quinn cuddled most of the day. She probably has a sore arm today.

Quinn's first Valentine's


One-month old!

Quinn was one-month-0ld the 13th. This is how he spent the majority of his day. What can we say, it's hard work turning 1 month!

Reagan has always loved to play dress up. She has a trunk of old Halloween costumes and other dress-up stuff she plays with all the time. This week, she has chosen a new "get-up" to wear each day, the entire day! The Snow Princess with a lei. Quinn wasn't all that happy to have his picture taken with the snow princess. Although, perhaps it has something to do with the grudge he'll hold over her since she had earlier dressed him up with a purple feather boa and pink princess crown.

Then, we had Snow White for two days running. Snow White with a knitted hat Aunt Carrie made last year that doesn't really fit anymore.

The second day, Snow White had her little cape-thing as a hat.

Then, we had a fairy. The costume is way to short for her. She wore it last year for Halloween.

Today, Reagan has ballerina tutu on and other accessories which frequently change.

It's really difficult to get good pictures of Quinn. He's either crying or sleeping. I'll continue to keep trying, I promise.
