Sorry no pictures. I've been so busy trying to balance out the working mom thing again that I haven't had any new posts or pictures. But, to update you on Reagan... Yesterday, I took Reagan to get her pictures taken. I was a little behind on the 2nd bday pics. Generally, Reagan is very well behaved in public and often shows zilcho emotion to strangers. Well, not yesterday. I'm not even sure who the kid was I took with me. B/c Reagan is often so well behaved, not to mention the adult-like vocabulary and speech, I tend to forget her age. So, when she acted like a true 2 y/o yesterday, I was stumped. She rolled all over the picture stage, would not hold still for even a millisecond, and would not stop talking. Needless to say, the photographer announced we were finished after 10 minutes and sent us on our way. I was embarrassed and frazzled. The behavior escalated from there, which included breaking my big toenail to midway back, throwing her shoes in to the aisles of the mall...Need I go on? I'm convinced aliens abducted my innocent baby sometime in the middle of the night. As I was struggling to not commit child abuse in the middle of the mall...enter MawMaw! (my mom).The beacon of light! She rescued me and took Reagan for the night. So, off to home I went for some Advil and a nap. Let's home tomorrow is better.

What? Summer's over??

It's official...summer's over :( Today, Reagan & I headed back to school. Ugh!! How I hate mornings. While I grumbled, Reagan was very excited to see "'Cole". Until two weeks ago, I was stressed over the thought of Reagan going to daycare this year. We have, so far, managed to avoid this, thank god!! Two weeks ago, I got a phone call from Nicole, who babysat Reagan last year. (We love Cole, as Reagie calls her). She could babysit this year again! Yippee!! No need to stress over stranger/separation anxiety and nasty daycare germs. Saved for one more year. Here's Reagan with her little lunchbox ready to go this morning. As you can see, she was super excited!

Family Reunion

Sunday, Reagan & I went to my family's reunion. She had a blast keeping my uncles' busy, not to mention all the food they were sneaking her.

After getting home from the park, Reagan decided to catch up on her literature about why we should not feed the ducks. Her new vocabulary word for the day was "migration".

Tonight, Reagan was enjoying one of her all-time favorite activities...playdough. She called me over to look at her butterfly. Not too bad for a 2 yo.

Birthday Party

Reagan & I attended my friend, Tracy's little girl's bday party today. As usual, it takes Reagan about the entire party to warm up to everyone, then it's time to leave and she's sad that her friends are gone. Before we left today, she informed me that she "needed to smell good for Hayden" and handed me her lotion. Uh-oh, boys already?!! I must admit, though, she has good taste. He's a very adorable tow-head.
